Duties
You will be responsible for planning and executing the Department's Information Technology (IT)/Information Systems (IS) programs, such as logistics solutions, core business solutions, technology services, and data analytics solutions.
You will set workload priorities, project/program emphasis, personnel resource allocation, and organizational structure for the Department.
You will perform administrative and supervisory duties, such as evaluating performance, resolving problems, selecting personnel, developing and training subordinates, and carrying out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies.
You will ensure that the department meets government-wide standards, regulations, and policies.
You will provide advice and technical assistance to the NAVSUP BSC Command and solve administrative and/or technical problems.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Expert knowledge of applying policy and planning concepts/practices, interrelations of multiple Information Technology (IT) disciplines, and project management methods related to the management of an organization's Information Systems (IS) and support resources. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies needed to deliver a wide variety of IT technical and integration services, IT production support, and infrastructure management; 2) Participating in the development of Agency wide IT policy initiatives and solutions to critical issues; 3) Exercising managerial skills to plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor complex and interrelated IT efforts and tasks; 4) Providing oversight and direction for matrixed support teams comprised of Contractor and Organic team members; 5) Planning, coordinating and directing the work of subordinate staff and finding ways to improve production or increase the quality of work directed; and 6) Presenting new ideas and obtaining support from Command Leadership for changes to existing procedures through cooperation with associates, management, and higher authorities. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
