About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserve Command, Army Reserve G-4, Supply and Services Division, Supply and Services Branch, located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Coordinate with installation staff on implementation of policies to improve readiness, meet contingencies, or prepare for mobilization/deployment.
Provide policy guidance pertaining to inventory management of mobility fill and weapons, support commodity, munitions, missiles, and electronic items.
Manage the logistics contracts, ensuring that the reports and records are accurate, formatted correctly, and justification approved prior to submission.
Brief the command group and represents the headquarters at higher, lateral, and subordinate commands on matters pertinent to material readiness, installation supply, and property assessment.
Represent the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics as project officer for the logistics management function of Installation Management and as a Material Readiness Specialist.
Administer the Army Audit Readiness Program (AARP) as it pertains to General Equipment, Existence, and Completeness.
Provide contractors with the required supplies and services to properly perform the contract in accordance with the Performance Work Schedule.
Direct actions for redistribution of assets to attain readiness objectives in accordance with unit mobilization priorities.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Recommending changes to automated logistics systems 2) Providing technical expertise on supply, maintenance and inventory management to various staff members 3) Participating in the investigation of problems relative to supply distribution, readiness and disposition of excess or obsolete end items and recommend corrective action 4) Providing technical expertise in the logistics management automated system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
