You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (Application Software/Customer Support) in the Information Systems Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will document software design modification for an information technology (IT) program.
You will maintain software applications for an organization's business systems to ensure quality and functionality of systems.
You will define information technology (IT) program objectives, requirements, and risks in alignment with agency goals.
You will coordinate information technology (IT) service delivery plans to ensure customer expectations can be supported.
You will build information technology (IT) knowledge management strategies for an organization
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Supporting core applications utilized within the command for all shop floor and administration processes, focusing on software version control, acquisition, functionality and customer support. 2) Determining requirements for obtaining FAM, DADMS, and NAVAIR approval on all and new current version/upgrades of software that make up the FRCSE Software Application Portfolio; 3) Updating and maintain all approved software applications for the entire command; 4) Tracking all software application in the command Application List to their corresponding counterpart in the Defense Application and Database Management System; 5) Assisting software migration efforts, implementation of new software, software upgrades or changes by coordaining with software vendors, developers, software specialists, system specialists, and customer representatives, as needed, to provide pertinent documentation and guidance for successful software implementation; 6) Serving as a command liaison with the Functional Area Managers, the software approval authority for the Navy and Marine Corps and providing the software application stakeholder direction and guidance for obtaining DADMS approval on new software applications.
