You will serve as a SUPV INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the N6 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) of NAVY REGION SOUTHEAST (NRSE) COMNAVREG SE JAX.
Duties
You will conduct long-range planning for the continuing enhancement of an information technology (IT) infrastructure.
You will formulate an information technology (IT) budget for equipment, facilities, and personnel to support an organization's IT requirements.
You will manage information technology (IT) configuration systems to ensure accurate performance.
You will develop information technology (IT) policies and plans to maintain effective and efficient business operations.
You will present information technology (IT) program strategies to senior leaders for the incorporation of emerging technologies.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 within 12 months of appointment.

- An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning must be documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Evaluating information technology (IT) configurations to determine necessary enhancements, upgrades, or modifications; 2) Providing IT oversight in areas of requirements validation, budget preparation, portfolio and applications management, and project management; 3) Providing modifications to IT plans and policies to respond to changes in the organization's business requirements and process changes in legislation or regulatory requirements; 4) Recommending enhancements to IT operations and; 5) Communicating with various high-level officials for plans, policies, and resolution of problems.
