About the Position: This position is with the Headquarters Department of Army, Staff and Field Operating Agencies Family Programs located in Arlington, VA. This is a TERM Not to exceed 2 years position.

Duties

Serve as Family Advocacy Contracts Subject Matter Expert (SME). Develop budget and manpower requirements for respective programs. Prepares project papers and staff reports. Maintains liaison with persons representing organization or groups from outside the employing agency. Delivers briefings to managers/supervisors on findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• May require travel up to 25% of the time.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Analyze a wide range of qualitative and analytical techniques for the improvement of an advocacy program such as: Family Advocacy Programs; AND 2) develop spending/financial projections and recommend strategies for meeting an advocacy program requirement; AND 3) provide expert guidance on advocacy program policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
