About the Position: This position is with the Headquarters Department of Army, Staff and Field Operating Agencies Family Programs located in Arlington, VA.
This is a TERM Not to exceed 2 years position.
Duties
Interpret policies, directives, regulations, and orders with higher echelon.
Ensure family programs are in compliance with applicable legislation and statutory laws.
Research a wide range of policies and procedures in order to improve family programs.
Develop technical guidance for implementation.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- May require travel up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: analyze a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the improvement of family programs; develop projections and recommend strategies for meeting family program requirements; provide guidance on family program policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
