You will serve as a Program Analyst under the Assistant Commander for Corporate Operations, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).
Duties
You will serve as a NAVSUP Enterprise subject matter expert for the Freedom of Information Act
You will consult with program officials regarding the release of responsive records
You will make recommendations for disposal of records
You will examines and appraises the effectiveness and efficiency of NAVSUP HQ and Echelon 3 command
FOIA programs and their compliance with relevant statutes, regulations, and guidelines
You will review cases and prepare Initial Denial Authority (IDA) requests for Echelon 3 activities as
required
You will serve as a NAVSUP Enterprise subject matter expert for Records Management
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing program analyst duties that demonstrate an expert knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of programs related to Freedom of Information act and Privacy act and Records Management. You have experience providing technical assistance to records manager supporting the Records Management functions to include classification, retention and data system interface. You have experience independently evaluating and recommending ways to improve the utilization of available resource and improve program management service. Examples of specialized experience may include 1) Independently, reviewing and analyzing FOIA requests and initiating request for cognizant ACOM or activity leads to search for responsive records; 2) Ensuring documents are stored correctly to comply with Records Management policy and guidelines; 3) Independently, locating, evaluating and selecting responsible material from numerous sources, in response to more complex incoming FOIA requests.
For GS-12
