You will serve as an INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROGRAM MANAGER in Fleet Maintenance, Department of the Navy of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
Duties
You will serve as the technical advisor to the Fleet Maintenance Officer providing oversight on maritime maintenance data systems and technology issues.
You will maintain working relationships with Shipyards and Regional Maintenance Centers, Base Communication Offices, Construction Agents and Warfare Centers.
You will manage and coordinate all automated information systems required to support the efforts to modernize and maintain the material readiness of the ships and aircraft of the Pacific Fleet.
You will manage and provide technical and functional oversight on issues/requirements for all information systems supporting the various maintenance activities.
You will develop and manage policies to improve the efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and interoperability of automated information systems employed
at the various maintenance activities.
You will prepare and present briefings and in process reviews concerning functional integration problems, changes in policies and procedures and logistics support planning.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing technical and functional oversight for information systems (e.g. Maritime Support Environment, Maintenance Figure of Merit, Naval Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) by assessing data to improve the efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of automated information systems.
