About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Serves as a Management Decision Package (MDEP) Manager for Acquisition functional mission sets.
Reviews ongoing processes and programs for compliance with existing laws, rules, regulations, and DA/DOD/Congressional directives.
Performs continuous review and analysis, determines trends, recommends and implements resource adjustments.
Prepares and presents portfolio briefings to Program Evaluation Group senior leaders.
Optimizes, controls, and manages all resources across assigned portfolio.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for PROGRAM MANAGEMENT certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). Specialized experience:1) Utilizing analytical methods to evaluate the efficiency of program objectives to ensure compliance with laws, rules and/or regulations. 2) Developing acquisition resource plan to meet program requirements. 3) Applying acquisition life cycle management process to identify and/or implement adjustments in any of the following costs, schedule, or performance. 4) Advising senior leaders on resource allocation and acquisition programs.
