About the Position: Serve as a Real Property Assistant at Fort Liberty where you will assist a Real Property Officer in real estate management and administration.
Duties

Prepare input in all automated and manual systems of real property accountability.
Prepare requests for approval of disposal of buildings and improvements.
Review and verify transfer documents for accuracy, format, unit of measure, and category on a variety of types of construction projects.
Prepare a wide variety of reports for use in installation management and planning as required utilizing computer automated systems.
Prepare a wide variety of reports including financial real property reports, acquisition reports, utilization reports, disposal reports and occupancy reports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assisting in performing a variety of technical and clerical duties related to real property transactions such as acquisitions, management, disposal, lease renewals, permits, revocable licenses, and lease agreements; 2) Maintaining records in compliance with established guidelines; and 3) Inputting and retrieving information from real property data systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
