You will serve as a Information Technology Specialist (Customer Service) in the Information Technology Department, Directorate of Administration, Navy Medicine Operational Training Center (NMOTC) of NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER.

Duties

You will isolate problems between hardware, system software, applicans and network devices. You will coordinate with departmental system administrators to resolve program specific issues. You will monitor computer equipment and provide remedial support in troubleshooting and correcting error conditions and/or system inefficiencies. You will work closely with vendors, program managers, information technology staff and users to resolve issues and ensure successful project implementations.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing cybersecurity operational impacts for the preparation and development of OPSEC programs. Experience in development and maintenance of .NET Framework application systems. Experience in web development and communicating cybersecurity guidance to stakeholders. Experience implementing Zero Trust security in (Department of Defense) DoD systems/software and technology architectures that optimize user's performance to accomplish required business outcomes. Experience applying security controls based on cybersecurity principles to cloud computing service and deployment models, identifying proper architecture for different operating environments.
