You will serve as a Major Project Program Manager in the Operations Department of NAVFAC ENGINEERING SYSTEMS CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will provide expertise, leadership and continuity in development, presentation, and justification of NAVFAC products and services required to support warfare enterprise requirements.
You will provide technical direction and integration across warfare enterprise portfolios focused on project planning, design, construction and public works products and services.
You will serve as the primary facilities expert, performing a wide variety of analytical, technical and advisory functions related to the fields of construction, public works, business and financial management.
You will participate in stakeholder conferences and warfare enterprise meetings to maintain coordination and drive progress in planning and execution to support warfare enterprise facilities programs.
You will guide, train and lead teams in the execution of NAVFAC products and services while concurrently developing innovative program improvements to enable effective delivery throughout the Region and, NAVFAC.

- This position may require travel, 50% of the time or less, from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

- You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes when making site visits, as determined by site conditions and applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Knowledge and experience with construction and Architect/Engineer contracts management of large and technically complex project portfolios.2) Cradle to grave life cycle oversight in both pre and post award phases of projects.3) Participated in or led a multi-functional team to develop standard practices or resolve problems.4) Leadership and supervisory experience; multiple large and geographically dispersed projects.5) Teambuilding, collaborating. Ability to achieve positive outcomes among multiple staffs and supported commands. 6) Use of information management systems to inform decision making process.7) Experience communicating with and advising senior staff at the O6/GS15 level and above, including Flag/SES level leaders.
