You will serve as a PUBLIC PRIVATE VENTURE PROJECT MANAGER in the ASSET MANAGEMENT BUSINESS LINE, PUBLIC PRIVATE VENTURE TEAM 1 of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will identify problems and respond to Partner and Supported Command concerns, facilitate problem resolution and implement resolutions. You will monitor compliance of business operations and business agreements to ensure long-term fiscal soundness and customer satisfaction with the project. You will serve as the primary POC for assigned project(s) and manage all aspects of the project oversight to protect the Department of Navy's investment. You will build alliances and facilitate as necessary with NAVFAC, PPV business entities, Supported Commands and Regions to resolve Department of Navy concerns and further the success of the individual PPV project and program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a range of federal, state, and regional policies, codes, regulations, and requirements pertaining to the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of Public Private Venture (PPV) projects. 2) Using administrative and project management processes necessary to successfully execute and manage the PPV projects as assigned within the PPV program. 3) Providing direction and advice to team personnel and others on the resolution of PPV actions. 4) Assisting in developing and executing the PPV annual budget and identifying the appropriate funding sources for PPV project actions. **NOTE: This experience must be fully supported in your resume to be considered for the position. ** Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
