You will serve as a SUPERVISORY REGION INVESTMENTS AND ENERGY PROGRAM DIRECTOR in the Assistant Regional Engineer (ARE) Office of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.
Duties
You will direct employees responsible for prioritization integration and execution of MCON, Special Project, Facilities Sustainment, and Energy Security programs for Region Mid-Atlantic.
You will implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building, or improve business practices.
You will plan short and long-range budgets at the echelon.
You will conduct in-depth analysis of metrics related to schedules, budgets, and acquisitions, for the operational management of NAVFAC ML business lines.
You will conduct briefings and presentations to senior military and executive staff that may encounter hostile questioning or extemporaneous responses.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ??1) managing multi-disciplined teams for program and project execution in construction, utilities, environmental, long-range planning, real estate, public works; 2) applying advanced problem-solving skills and techniques to identify and address changing project situations; 3) planning short and long range budgets; 4) conducting in-depth analysis of metrics related to schedules, budgets, and acquisitions; and 5) Presenting briefings and presentations to senior military and executive staff.
