Salary: $73 572 - 114 634 per year

You will serve as a Management Analyst of NAVSAFECOM.

Duties

You will be working independently under the guidelines established by the RMI Requirements Manager. You will establish clear and achievable objectives, and balances competing demands between projects including demands for quality, scope, time and cost. You will ensure that individual projects map directly to programmed RMI capabilities. You will work with all other Safety Command systems program managers for integration processes into the overall Safety Management System. You will create complex reports by using business intelligence software to display extracted data in a format conducive to customer requirements. You will track system workflow to ensure proper operation of the RMI system in order to identify system errors.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

GS-12: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Developing requirements for software design that affect safety policies to eliminate accidents, deaths and occupational illnesses by applying risk management strategies. Creating complex reports by using business intelligence software to display extracted data in a format conducive to customer requirements. Tracking system workflows to ensure proper operation of the Risk Management Initiative (RMI) system in order to identify system errors and working directly with customers to address customer errors. GS-11: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Conduct research to assist decision makers in developing requirements for software design that affect safety policies to eliminate accidents, deaths and occupational illnesses by applying risk management strategies. Creating reports by using business intelligence software to display extracted data in a format conducive to customer requirements. Tracking system workflows to ensure proper operation of the Risk Management Initiative (RMI) system in order to identify system errors.
