About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Deputy Chief of Staff G-3/5/7 USA Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA) Fort Eustis VA. Fort Eustis is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.. The Hampton Roads/Tidewater area has all the conveniences of a big city with charm of small town and rural areas.

Duties

Responsible for compiling Security Cooperation financial data. Coordinates the processing of all financial transaction input through financial systems. Reconciles Security Cooperation programs to ensure country program allocation is within approved funding levels. Coordinates extraction of data to maintain diversified recurring reports.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Applicant must be able to obtain FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LEVEL 2 CERTIFIED certification within 24 months from hire date.
• Appliant must complete SECURITY COOPERATION (SC) WORKFORCE (SCW) certification-related training requirements in the security cooperation area of concentration within the timeframe associated with the position.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time away from the normal duty station.
• Position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the requirement has previously been met.
• This position requires to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Business, Economics, and Finance. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
