About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Deputy Chief of Staff G-3/5/7 USA Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA) Fort Eustis VA. Fort Eustis is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.. The Hampton Roads/Tidewater area has all the conveniences of a big city with charm of small town and rural areas.

Duties

Serves as principal Senior Supervisory Budget Analyst with overall responsibilities for the total spectrum of programming, planning, budgeting, execution, billing, payments, disbursing agent, auditing, and accounting functions. Supervises the total centralized financial management and budget operation within the organization. Provides advice to the director on all matters of financial management, budgetary policy, law, and regulation. Serves as the principal technical authority and advisor to the Director, SATFA on all matters of financial management, budgetary policy, law, and regulation.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Financial Management Level 3 Certification - must be able to obtain this certification within 24 months from hire date.
