Duties
Serves as a senior specialist responsible for the daily operation of critical process automations (i.e., Robotics Process Automation (RPA)) and identification, research, analysis and resolution of system problems and/or necessary enhancements.
Reviews process automation proposals and operational capabilities, collaborating with various internal/external Mission Areas, and provides recommendations for the best method for accomplishing these changes.
Prepares RPA Use Cases and develops documentation required for configuration control board/configuration management information system overview.
Oversees the testing of system changes and monitors the implementation of enhancements or new products.
Oversees the testing of developed RPA solutions and monitors the implementation of RPA solutions along with change requests and/or production trouble reports.
Advises supervisors and senior managers on major system issues, associated risks, functional impact, and data integrity.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: demonstrating knowledge of automated systems design and processing principles, techniques, policies, and regulations related to finance and accounting operations; identifying, documenting and recommending financial system requirements; recommending solutions to issues related to the integration of financial systems.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
