About the Position: Serves as the Engineering Systems Branch Chief within the Business Operations and Integration Division (BOID), Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at a large multi-mission garrison level, providing the full range of real property and facilities maintenance, energy conservation, and related engineering services for the garrison.
Duties
Ensure accomplishment of medium and long-range planning.
Maintain awareness of such things as development and trends in engineering sciences, techniques, standards and regulatory frameworks.
Exercise knowledge of fiscal policy and law, Program objectives Memorandum (POM) input, risk analysis, Internal Management Control, budget, and program management.
Work with systems such as General fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
Prepare portions of Activity Based Costing (ABC) and Management (ABM) reports. Prepare reports of Common Levels of Support (CLS).
Develop internal policies/operation procedures and control systems. Monitor and report on customers satisfaction after evaluation.
Design and monitor the implementation of integrated automated management information system such as budgetary/accounting, costing, travel, programming and manpower management
Plan and execute Annual Work Plan. Plan and execute reimbursable work. Provide integrated financial management and analysis.
Provide guidance and advice regarding internal policies and procedures and operational changes.
Provide input for the Installation Status Report (ISR) Part 1, Facilities ISR Part 2, Environmental and Part 3.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter
- This position requires a Secret Clearance.
- This position requires the completion of a Supervisory Probationary Period.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes working in public works of facility management or property management with the skilled trades such as a carpenter, electrician, HVAC technician, plumber and or fire alarm technician; And supervising two or more employees in a professional environment.
