You will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) in the Navy ERP Sustainment Office of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER.

Duties

You will be responsible for managing the system functional requirements supporting Supply Chain Management business processes in the sustainment of production and configuration operations for Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Code 98. You will develop strategies, activities, goals and objectives related to system defects and design project work from initial detection to final implementation. You will be responsible for release management tasks for sustainment of the Navy ERP Information Technology (IT) solution across the Supply Chain Management functional teams. You will research, identify problems, determine actions to improve program effectiveness, and propose new procedures and methods. You will coordinate with customers and program managers to identify and specify system requirements. You will provide expert technical advice and guidance to team members regarding Information Technology (IT) issues as the Subject Matter Expert for the Navy ERP Planning/ Supply Master Data Team. You will work closely with other Readiness Service Center (RSC) team leads and Tier 3 Functionalists to ensure customers priority 1-3 incidents are resolved under Service Level Targets (SLTs). You will monitor team members to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (641), proficiency level (Intermediate) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing SAP functional NAVY ERP Tier 3 diagnostics, analytics and corrections; 2) Utilizing SAP ECC, SAP SCM, SAP HANA, and Business Warehouse; 3) Knowledge of full life-cycle system implementations; 4) Managing and identifying issues in a ticketing system in a fast paced environment, troubleshooting and executing resolutions; 5) Leading teams, delegating work, and managing tasks; 6) Executing year-end, month-end, and period-end activities within NAVY ERP; 7) Sustaining Navy ERP IT solution, specifically regarding Planning and Supply Master Data to include quarterly and delta forecasting, system refresh validations, material updates, planning tasks for plant and vendor maintenance, record and regression test results.
