Duties
You will serve as the Tier II Local Lead in the Program Management (PM) Competency.
You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Division, including miscellaneous data calls and other routing administrative requirements.
You will manage financial resources and workforce based on organizational goals and budget limitations.
You will assess the Program Management skills of 6.0 competency assigned and aligned personnel to assist supervisors in developing appropriate individual development plans.
You will collaborate with Program/Project Management and Technical Department representatives to manage Echelon II support requests and personnel placement.
You will coordinate across competency, portfolio and business unit boundaries to achieve satisfactory results.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying for STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and stated in your resume.
Qualifications
NM- 05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of cost, schedule and performance responsibilities in a program management office or similar organization. Ability to identify and analyze problems; weigh relevance and accuracy of information; seek/generate and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; make timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions.
NM- 04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of cost, schedule and performance responsibilities in a program management office or similar organization.
