You will serve as a PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will evaluate operational issues to recommend solutions and improvement. You will input inspection results into a database for metric analysis. You will perform contract quality assurance tasks such as on-site inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications. You will compile written reports to provide status or project updates.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Accurately documenting work processes, procedures, and output measures. 2) Assessing compliance with performance objectives and standards. 3) Analyzing and investigating adverse quality trends or conditions 4) Operating Microsoft Windows and Office products (to include, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); 5)generating reports and spread sheets and presenting them to management 6)scheduling meetings with clients and contractors to formulate a plan for actions and confirm compliance with work being completed and or modifications to existing work; 7) Conducting studies, evaluations, and analysis to determine activity involvement and compliance with general quality and quality control planning; And 8)Analyzing and investigating metrics and customer survey results and recommending/initiating corrective action. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with a major study in a field related to the position.

OR
Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a major study in a field related to the position.

OR

OR

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
