You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the NAVSEA Ammunition Inventory Management Branch (A32), NAVSUP Ammunition Logistics Center (NALC) of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
Duties
You will modify standard Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) practices and procedures to solve a variety of ILS problems and ensure effective and efficient application of difficult and complex ILS projects.
You will represent the organization as an expert in ammunition logistics business processes, in efforts to develop solutions to ILS and stockpile management problems.
You will serve as the subject matter expert with issues regarding acquisition, ordnance stratification, item cataloging, transportation, noncombat expenditure allocations (NCEA), and non-nuclear ordnance requirements (NNOR).
You will supervise the utilization of Ordnance Information Systems (OIS) and Secret Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRNET) terminals to update and obtain status/reports for various Navy ordnance assets used by multiple NAVSEA customers.
You will oversee the global analysis of ordnance stockpile requirements that affect the Navy's ability to support regional contingencies and other war fighting scenarios.
You will be responsible for the oversight of inventory management and distribution functions.
You will perform direct line supervision of Logistics Management Specialists.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of logistics management operations, and skill in applying this knowledge to support an ordnance program. You shall be exceedingly familiar with supply chain management, requisitioning, load planning/allowancing, inventory management and ordnance stockpile management related to ammunition supply chains. You shall also be able to communicate well both orally and in writing. Specific examples of experience must include all or most of the following: 1) Applying a detailed knowledge of integrated logistics support (ILS) concepts, programs, and policies sufficient to ensure their effective and efficient application to a variety of difficult and complex ILS projects; 2) Utilizing Ordnance Information System (OIS), Ordnance Information System - Wholesale (OIS-W), and Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP)/Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accounting Procedures (MILSTRAP); 3) Analyzing and evaluating a variety of data, processes and policies in order to recommend and execute changes necessary to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of an Ordnance Branch; and 4) Providing leadership and guidance, or supervision over subordinate logistics employees to ensure they are able to accomplish required work.
