This vacancy is for Program Analyst position in the Associate Director for Demographic Programs located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.

Duties
Manage, plan, and coordinate the Directorate’s hiring activities, processes, and procedures across five divisions for mission critical positions.
Manage and enhance the Directorate’s professional training and development program in support of its expanding capabilities.
Research, develop, and implement procedures and processes to improve the operational efficiencies and effectiveness of the Directorate’s human capital management program.
Supervise staff and serve as project lead or team member on special projects and/or enterprise-wide initiatives in support of division(s) or the Directorate.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Coordinating hiring, recruitment, and onboarding for mission critical positions; Planning and scheduling courses for the professional training and development program; Recommending program processes and operations to improve program workflow; Maintaining and recommending enhancements to a web-based collaborative platform, such as MS SharePoint, to foster shared communication and coordination across the Directorate.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer.
Education
Education cannot be substituted for the Specialized Experience for this position.
