You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Planning, Design and Construction Directorate of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will develop and/or collect all design and construction data necessary to meet customer needs and execution objectives. You will assist project managers in all areas of receipt, commitment, and obligation of funds. You will troubleshoot existing systems and reports to improve accuracy and reliability of Financial System. You will identify, analyze and recommend solutions to problems in administrative procedures, work processes or workload distribution. You will apply fact finding and investigating techniques to determine errors in data captured in the data bases for construction projects.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Demonstrates knowledge of financial systems and other funding database application systems; 2) Demonstrates knowledge of contracting techniques and how to load data in financial systems; 3) Demonstrates knowledge of funding document policies and regulations, purchase orders, and project order documents; 4) Possesses skills in oral and written communication to prepare and present recommendations and solutions.
