You will serve as a FACILITIES SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Business Operations Management Department, Facilities Division of OCHR OPERATIONS CENTER.

Duties

You will coordinate, plan, schedule and oversee facilities maintenance, renovations, and system requirements. You will inspect projects to validate work in progress and makes sure work meets specifications and facilities inspections are performed as required. You will be responsible for inventory control, storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification inventory systems, property utilization, or other related supply and equipment activities. You will obtain estimates, reviews requisitions for completeness and compliance with regulations, and revises quantities ordered based on inventory. You will serve as a command assistant Personal Property Manger by ensuring proper inventory of property. You will maintain records and demand data for determination of property which is obsolete or excess to needs of the organization required to enter item in property records. You will oversee local mail distribution services; coordinates service expansion, and relocation of telephones; coordinates cleaning, fueling, and maintenance of assigned government vehicles; coordinates office equipment assignment. You will coordinate resolution of problems with base officials, repair technicians, safety and security office and contractors.

Qualifications

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing facilities maintenance support (e.g., repair, maintenance, or modification of equipment, supply/inventory systems, inventory control); and performing facility inventory/equipment management services according to mission goals. GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least three (3) years of general experience that includes one (1) year of experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing assistance with facilities maintenance support (e.g., repair, maintenance, or modification of equipment, supply/inventory systems, inventory control). Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-05
Successful completion 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience

GS-07:
Successfully completed one full year of graduate level education
OR
Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement (see below for clarification text).
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

SUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT (SAA): Superior Academic Achievement is based on: (1) class standing; (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership. 1. Class standing - applicants must be in the upper third of graduating class in the college or university attending based on courses completed. 2. Grade-point average (G.P.A) - applicants must have a grade-point average of: a. 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) as recorded on official transcript or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of my curriculum, or b. Based on grade-point average of 3.45 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. 3. Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society as listed by the Association of College Honor Societies. Membership in a freshman honor society cannot be used to meet the requirements of this provision.
