The primary purpose of this position is to To serve as the administrator for data entry, administrator for web-based sites and other procurement
applications/systems within the Contracting Squadron.
Duties
Performs complete administration, transmission, data collection, data entry and ensures the data
integrity of the organization's processing databases/systems, SharePoint sites, Shared Drive, and record keeping and reconciliation as it pertains to Purchase Requests in the system.
Provides technical support that may include troubleshooting information technology system problems. Responsible for helping manage the Contracting Squadron Share Point page including posting or changing documents, applying new processes for web page publishing, changing, updating, and adding links, and resolving access/connectivity issues.
Responsible for producing a wide range of reports, documents, tables, charts, spreadsheets, or databases applying various available tools/systems.
Uses varied functions of multiple office automation software to produce a wide range of documents to include correspondence and substantiating documents pertaining to contract and procurement actions.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes ?????experience assisting in providing advice and assistance on contracting information systems used in support of contracting functions and programs to various contracting professionals; translating customer requirements; advising in the development of procedures for using the capabilities of contacting information systems.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:???????
Knowledge of DoD and Air Force automated data processing functions, techniques, and capabilities including the contract writing system(s), relational database principals, microcomputer operations and networking operations systems.
Some knowledge of procurement regulations, procedures and policies, knowledge of report writing techniques to present factual information clearly as it relates to the contracting process and ability to access or locate contracting data in various contracting information systems.
Skill and ability to deal with others in a work relationship to present information orally and in writing to accomplish a given purpose.3
Knowledge of the ability to apply procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise in the work of the unit, including the ability to maintain creditability with orders on technical matters.
Knowledge, skill, and ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations, to plan and organize work, and meet quick deadlines.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
