About the Position: Serves as senior program analyst/team leader for ILSC BMD, Integrated Financial Management Directorate.
Duties
Plans, develops, installs and maintains the nature and extent of the entire financial management program for ILSC involving several accounting, budgeting and interfacing systems.
Addresses overall program accomplishments by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating reports, studies, projects, and information provided.
Identifies critical financial management problems/issues relative to acquisition and logistics support of ILSC managed equipment and systems involving regulatory and systemic guidance.
Serves as principal advisor on planning, budgeting, and execution of all ILSC resources.
Receives and interprets policies, directives and regulations received from higher echelons.
Participates in the development of Department of Defense and Department of Army Regulations and automated systems through recommended changes, clarification, corrections, and review.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.
- Financial Management Certification Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management within 2 years of employment.
- TDY up to 10%
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
