You will serve as a Human Resouces Specialist (Recruitment and Placement) in the Total Force Management Program Office of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as technical advisor and expert for the CIVMAR qualification/rating process for both external and internal hiring.
You will serve as the direct examining authority expert in the assigned functional area.
You will ensure integrated service delivery processes relating to rating, selection, and hiring/promotion processes are met and kept current.
You will develop, create, and maintain all job analysis, crediting plans, and registers based on job descriptions, Coast Guard regulations, and MSC regulations.
You will provide staff training and additional development.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing advice to management regarding the qualification requirements and rating and ranking process used to evaluate candidates. Experience locating, interpreting, and analyzing qualification standards. Experience adhering to preference categories in the certification process. Experience developing job analysis and registers based on job descriptions. Experience with personnel management such as promotions, awards, and details. Experience with the Acquire to Hire Process.
