About the Position: Serves as a Program Analyst in the Business Management Directorate (BMD), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC). Performs the full range of review and analysis functions to identify and plan fiscal resources needed to conduct ILSC operations
Duties
Prepares a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required.
Plans, analyzes, and prepares the annual funding requirements which consists of major and minor programs.
Assists and coordinates preparation of monthly Funding Execution Review and Analysis, reviews content for accuracy and validity.
Coordinates with supervisor in preparation of technical reviews, unfunded requirements, reprogramming and decrement actions, and allocations of resources.
Maintains cognizance of the organization’s financial plan through review of periodic cost summaries, review, and analysis of those reports to include but not limited to recommend reprogramming actions to assure maximum utilization of available funds.
Oversees the maintenance of informal records of obligations and expenditures for assigned programs.
Assists in determining funding requirements by fiscal year, and monitors spending/distribution processes to prevent unplanned deviations from predicted pattern.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.
- Financial Management Certification Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management within 2 years of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
