About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Deputy Chief of Staff G-3/5/7 USA Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA) Fort Eustis VA. Fort Eustis is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.. The Hampton Roads/Tidewater area has all the conveniences of a big city with charm of small town and rural area.

Duties

Serve as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA), Financial Management Division. Responsible for funding Continental United States (CONUS)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) training of international students under the Security Cooperation/Security Assistance Training Programs. Initiate and execute funding procedures in the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS). Advise management on the preparation and transactional flow of detailed financial activity. Review and validate funding requirements from Standardized Training Listings.

• TDY travel is occasionally required
• Selectee must obtain Financial Management Level II certification within 24 months of entrance on duty.
