Duties
You will manage and provide program/project management support. Assist in the analysis and execution of cost, schedule, and technical performance of activities for a Program of Record (POR) or NIWC Pacific project/s.
You will provide briefings inclusive of financial management, status of work accomplished to date, and current work/s in progress. Apply oral and written communication skills to interface effectively with personnel at all levels.
You will provide technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical acquisition, technical, contractual and financial issues related to the program/project.
You will assist in the development of detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates and schedules to ensure proper sequencing of events and tracking of processes and costs throughout the life cycle of the programs/projects.
You will undertake and complete complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly, and lead others to accomplish complex goals.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A: Program Management Level 02. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: In-depth knowledge of program/project management principles, acquisition programs, methods, and practices, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.
NO-05:

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advanced knowledge of program/project management principles, methods, and practices, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.
