Duties
You will serve as the technical liaison between PMRF, Fleet commands, the event sponsor, Commander, Joint Region Marianas and others involved in the conduct and planning of scheduled Fleet training events and exercises.
You will oversee the overall readiness of MARSS assets installed on the Mobile AT Sea Sensor (MATSS) and take necessary action to ensure MARSS capabilities and resources are in place and available to support range scheduled operations.
You will oversee the maintenance and operations of MARSS to include, but not limited to, the general maintenance and sustainment, corrective maintenance, testing, and cybersecurity of all MARSS components.
You will apply emerging technology and business practices to validate and direct resources required to meet costs, schedules, performance, and
supportability criteria.
You will monitor and maintain the maintenance of MARSS readiness and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity compliance to ensure mission readiness and systems accreditation
You will provide monthly assessments of Operations and Maintenance contractor performance regarding the MARSS OM contract.
You will make technical decisions regarding the development and testing of significantly modified MARSS subsystems prior to underway to achieve such goals as reliability, maintainability, and compliance with safety regulations.
You will review, analyze, and determine optimal MARSS hardware and software configurations to ensure functional requirements and cybersecurity compliance are met.
You will provide effective and decisive leadership to the MARSS team both during normal underway operations and during any emergencies that may occur such as fire, collision or abandoning ship.
You will Identify policies, processes, and organizational elements required for MARSS critical manpower and capabilities to effectively meet commitments within the scheduled timeframe.
You will assist MARSS Systems Manager in the analysis of MARSS program requirements to determine required systems support capabilities, identifies potential problem areas, and oversees required systems capability improvements or procurements.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying project management methods and statistical analysis to identify performance, capability, or maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions for the improved sustainability of a program.
