About the Position: Headquarters, US Army Forces Command Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with rural and city populations, co-located at Fayetteville, NC centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which enjoys a temperate year-round climate and world-renowned colleges and universities. Fayetteville is centrally located between the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.
Duties
Serves as a Senior Logistics Management Specialist in the Equipment Integration Program.
Supports full spectrum and contingency operations.
Liaison between units and HQDA G-8 for MTOE equipping activities and issues. Supports FORSCOM G-4 deployment readiness requirements to HQDA. Develops and implements FORSCOM equipping policies.
Identify shortages, deficiencies, problems and capabilities by interacting with users.
Analyzes and evaluates logistics studies, technical reports, supply data systems, contractor studies, and materiel developed by U.S. Army Materiel Command.
Provide technical knowledge pertinent to program regulations, policies, law and precedents which affects supply and logistics operations throughout the organization.
Requirements

- Secret Security Clearance.
- This position requires a minimum of 25% travel.
- Incumbent must be able to travel via commercial air, military air, rail, private and commercial auto.
- Incumbent must have a valid drivers license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Experience providing guidance and oversight for data based on logistics and mission readiness. Experience with readiness processes and planning, property book analysis, and maintenance support. Experience in process and procedures analyses. Experience in developing equipping policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
