About the Position: Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 5 years by a current permanent Army Employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years. Time-limited reassignments and change to lower grade may exceed 5 years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further competition.

Duties

Write and compile complete technical data for procurement of units of automatic test equipment for depot or field use. Provide assistance to automatic test equipment developers by evaluating design specifications for new or prototype components. Prepare necessary documentation or procedures to implement changes in test program sets. Perform installation, maintenance, operation, and testing duties. Develop manpower material and overhead cost estimates.

• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
