You will serve as a Program Analyst (Strategic Studies & Wargames) in the Directorate Maritime Operations and Plans Department (N5) Wargames Branch (N52) of Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Virginia.

Duties
You will review strategic studies; defense related analyses, DoD-wide doctrine, and long-range policy decisions for their accuracy, relevance and completeness.
You will develop a comprehensive MSC publication review plan for Navy, Service, DoD and Joint Staff documents, publications and instructions.
You will receive and track MSC staff input, consolidate and edit input and ensure timely completion of all doctrine and publication review tasking.
You will participate in interagency writing teams for the formulation of initial doctrine or significant revisions to existing publications related to subjects of interest to MSC.
You will participate in wargames, seminars and related exercises that test doctrine and help to determine future DoD direction.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing technical and analytical studies in wargames. Experience compiling management data to prepare reports. Experience working independently in developing critical comments and inputs focused on defense sealift capabilities, strategic mobility, ocean transportation systems and fleet support activity and developing a comprehensive publication review plan for organization documents, publications, and instructions. Experience reviewing strategic studies, defense related analyses, doctrines, and long-range policy decisions for their accuracy, relevance and completeness regarding specific organizational mission and responsibilities. Experience developing and maintaining wargame data resources and reference files.
