About the Position: Performs logistics management functions as a supervisor assigned to the Sustainment Division, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Logistics Center, involving planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions required to support specified missions or programs.
Duties
Work requires the performance of highly technical functions in the development and operation of automated data and analysis systems or formulation of logistics policy and procedures.
Identifies resource requirements needed to develop and support specific programs and correlates those requirements with program plans to ensure mission requirements are accomplished.
Participates in functional coordinating groups, panels, and committees involved in the management and development of automated systems, or policy and procedures.
Coordinates program activities with other major Army commands, Army, and other DoD and federal agencies.
Serves as a technical advisor to the HQS USACE Logistics Staff, ULA managers, and ULA field managers and supervisors.
Perform duties as Senior Property Officer for the Command.
Serve as the as the Senior Property Book advisor for Corporate Management.
Requirements

- TDY 25%
- Incumbent may be subject to 24-hour on-call in the event of an emergency.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position.

One year of specialized experience which includes performing logistics management functions as a supervisor to a supply and maintenance division; performing highly technical functions in the development and operation of automated data and analysis systems; monitors effectiveness/efficiency of logistics programs; identifying resource requirements; and/or has experience as technical advisor in logistics to field managers and/or supervisors. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
