About the Position: The incumbent for Lead Logistics Management Specialist position will be responsible for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) operation and management of USACE-wide Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTV) fleet management programs.
Duties
Publishes and promotes instructions and directives to implement agency fleet management and transportation regulations and policies.
Serves as a work leader of transportation specialists and assistants.
Develops and implements plans and strategies to provide effective and efficient fleet management and transportation services.
Process logistics travel requirements.
Reviews cost estimates and adjust logistics plans to accommodate for unforeseen developments.
Requirements

- Must obtain and/or maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes creating plans and strategies to provide effective and efficient fleet management and transportation services; utilizing gathered data to find and correct issues impacting performance; reviewing cost estimates; and leading a team of employees to effectively meet organizational goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
