You will serve as a SUPV HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the Fitness Reports Processing Unit (MMRP-32), Manpower Management Records and Performance (MMRP) Branch, Manpower Management Division (MM), Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department (M&RA) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will draft policies and recommend changes to proposed policies and directives of other systems and processes.
You will intercept policies and directives, and advise on related areas such as selection board policies.
You will oversee system testing, deployment, and operations within the unit and direct contractors providing system support to the unit.
You will serve as the Fitness Report Processing Unit responsible for the supervision of unit operations, oversight of fitness report review and processing.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring that reports are procedurally and administratively correct, identifying needed policy revisions and procedures, and counseling employees, resolving minor complaints, and recommending disciplinary action.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
