About the Position: This position serves as a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist for the U.S. Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School.

Duties

Serve as the command Safety Data Manager to maintain and update records as per Army and OSHA regulatory requirements. Serve as Program Manager for planning, coordinating and evaluating the Radiation Protection and Laser Safety elements of the overall command Safety Program. Assist and provide back-up support for the Civilian Accident Prevention Program. Conduct inspections of units engaged in diverse high-risk missions, in both CONUS and OCONUS, and determines degree of compliance with prescribed procedures and practices in all phases of operations.

Requirements

• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is occasionally required 10% of the time.
