DCSA Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Directorate is looking for an Administrative Officer to join our team. Duties
This position is located in the Counterintelligence & Insider Threat (CI) Directorate, reporting to the Chief of Staff, and serves as the CI lead for critical administrative programs and support services, strategic planning support to the command group and staff organizations for special projects, and manages critical action officer functional responsibilities to ensure the effective and efficient operation of all the administrative and logistical support activities for CI.
* Provides dedicated and focused administrative and operational support to CI and DCSA for the purpose of achieving DCSA's Strategic Plan and its objectives.
* Provide administrative and technical oversight, coordination and integration of multiple functions relative to programs, briefings, correspondence and liaison with internal and external organizations.
* Prepares comprehensive PowerPoint presentations and staff actions using a variety of MS Office programs, SharePoint, and online resources.
* Manages, initiates, processes all travel orders and vouchers for the CI Leadership staff.
* Manages organizational use of the correspondence and task management system.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 11 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Assists with managing routine directorate level meetings to include preparing agendas and documenting meeting notes. Assists with organizational use of the correspondence and task management (CATMS) system. Coordinates logistical support for the workforce in his/her respective location and assists other resource managers. Studies, evaluates, and oversees the issuance, utilization, maintenance and/or accounting of space, telephones, office equipment, furniture, vehicles, credit cards, supplies and forms. Initiates and processes travel authorizations and vouchers.
Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
1. Program Planning, Review and Evaluation: Continuing analyses of program effectiveness, efficiency, cost effectiveness, schedule adherence and measurement of program accomplishments and results.
2. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally to internal and external stakeholders to further the activity.
3. Management Analysis: Conducts research and solves organizational inefficiencies to increase the effectiveness of the organization.
4. Planning and Evaluating: Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
