Duties
As a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER you will be responsible for the following duties:
Serves as Administrative Officer (Resource Manager) for the Headquarters Industrial Security (IS) directorate.
Supports hiring managers in all capacities/stages of the hiring process, metrics tracking, and serves as an advisor/subject matter expert to managers and supervisors on all human resources (HR) matters such as recruitment, incentives, pay, hours of duty, etc.
Oversees management of the directorates assigned Table of Distributions Allowance (TDA), in coordination with the Resource Management Branch Chief, to assure the organization is properly aligned with stated mission and functions.
Develops, manages, revises and improves processes and operational methods as well as formulates and provides advice related to the effective use of labor, funding and organizational resources.
Coordinates communication and outreach to collaborate with technical experts to track internal hiring actions and billet management.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Provide multi-level program support services, include, but not limited to IT equipment and software, coordinating new equipment fielding, budget, acquisitions, property accountability, operations planning, and providing training. Provide briefings and guidance on operational matters related to programs, deficiencies, and substantial changes with potential impact on various projects and programs. Advisor to managers and supervisors on human resources related matters, including, but not limited to staffing, classification, awards, performance management, and benefits.
