DCSA's CI & Insider Threat Directorate is seeking an Administrative Officer. In this role you will be responsible for administering and providing broad advisory services directly supporting the CI senior leadership team, as well as subordinate units, to include administrative, technical, and strategic communications, as well as providing broad advisory services to ensure the effective and efficient operation of all the administrative and logistical support activities for CI.

Duties

All U.S. Citizens who reside or currently employed in the MCB Quantico local commuting area, which includes the Virginia counties of Albemarle, Arlington, Caroline, Chesterfield, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Greene, Hanover, Henrico, King George, Loudoun, Louisa, Madison, Orange, Prince William, Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties, and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Manassas, Manassas Park, and Richmond; Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and Saint Mary's; District of Columbia; and all cities existing in Virginia or Maryland within the geographic area bounded by the outer boundaries of the combined areas of the aforementioned counties. As an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER you will be responsible for the following duties: * Provides dedicated and focused administrative and operational support to CI and DCSA for the purpose of achieving DCSA's Strategic Plan and its objectives. * Provide administrative and technical oversight, coordination and integration of multiple functions relative to programs, briefings, correspondence and liaison with internal and external organizations. * Prepares comprehensive PowerPoint presentations and staff actions using a variety of MS Office programs, SharePoint, and online resources. * Manages, initiates, processes all travel orders and vouchers for the CI Senior Leadership staff. * Coordinates protocol requirements and official recognitions ceremonies in-person, using the hybrid format or in the virtual environments, * Manages organizational use of the correspondence and task management system.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Knowledge of administrative models and staffing procedures for cross-portfolio management to include personnel hiring actions, VIP visits and open forums like All Hands and leadership offsite. Also, a general understanding of IT system administration, integration and interoperability principles and methodologies. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production. 2. Administrative Analysis - Performing detailed analyses to resolve administrative issues and problems involving travel, timekeeping, protocol and other support functions. 3. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 4. Organizational Awareness - Knows how social, political, organizational, and technological systems work and operates effectively within them. This includes the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the work unit or organization. 5. Writing - Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a brief, clear, and organized manner; produces written information, which may include technical material, that is appropriate for the intended audience.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
