You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST (SERE) in the Training Directorate of the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) of CENTER FOR SECURITY FORCES.
Duties
You will advise and guide participants on plans, schedules, methods, policies, and objectives.
You will interpret directives that address joint training goals, procedures, and policies to manage the joint training program.
You will work with a communication team to prepare the workforce for upcoming training sessions.
You will identify deficiencies in installation exercises to provide solutions to unique training situations.
You will develop guidance on training processes and requirements for new and existing training initiatives.
You will oversee training and workforce development policies to confirm they are implemented according to guidelines.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current SERE level "C" certification.
Qualifications
GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identifies and deploys training program delivery strategies and methodologies; 2) Disseminates program information and evaluates effectiveness of training programs, continuously improves training programs: 3) Interprets technical material, rules, regulations, and instructions; 4) Integrate and weigh situational constraints, risks, and rewards. 5) Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; and 6) Develops, reviews, and implements legislative proposals, regulations, standards, policies, and operating guidance.
GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ???????(GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: sector 1) Identifies and deploys training program delivery strategies and methodologies; 2) Assists with disseminating program information and evaluates effectiveness of training programs, continuously improves training programs: 3) Interprets technical material, rules, regulations, and instructions; 4) Presents and promotes varied ideas and issues (to include sensitive or controversial topics) before a wide range of audiences; 5) Identifies and analyzes problems; and 6) Assists with developing and implementing legislative proposals, regulations, standards, policies, and operating guidance.

GS-11
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
