You will serve as a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR in the TRAINING DEPARTMENT of CDR NAVY EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT COMMAND.
Duties
You will perform duties associated with Curriculum Control Authority (CCA) such as reviewing training project plans, minor revisions to curriculum and curriculum management.
You will interface with NETC Headquarters and NETC Learning Centers personnel to determine training solutions for emergent requirements and provide input to NTSPs and Training Situation Documents (TSD).
You will approve Training Project Plans (TPPs) for courses under development or revision from NECC Commands.
You will advocate for curriculum resources, establish policy and guidance and conduct periodic curriculum review.
You will develop, evaluate and assess metrics in order to compare and improve training/readiness.
You will acquire funding for curriculum development and resources in support of the NECC Learning Sites.
You will manage and evaluate curriculum and training to verify that it adheres to the ISD principles and systems approach model and focuses on performance based outcomes.
You will analyze and assess content of curriculum and training to substantiate effectiveness and efficiency of instructional programs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will periodically be required for weekend/holiday work.
- Work is typically in an office environment. Evaluations of field exercises are sometimes performed in an austere environment.
- Incumbent may be required to visit training facilities including field training areas, industrial and/or construction sites; visits will require the ability to work in rough, uneven, unimproved terrain and may require moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
Qualifications
To qualify for the TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR, GS-1712-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience developing, reviewing, and standardizing training management efforts pertaining to existing programs, coordinating training solutions, and conducting constant analysis of training programs, training curricula and processes to determine best practices.
* Experience leading the development and implementation of training policy in support of Force Development and Force Generation for personnel assigned to commands aligned under the administrative command of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC).
* Experience understanding the command construct of NECC, its command structure, units' organizations, missions, capabilities, standards, requirements, policy and support structure for both active duty and reserve naval organizations.
* Experience delivering Flag-level presentations and briefs both orally and in writing to communicate training and training reporting requirements with military and civilian personnel.
* Experience acting as NECC Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) and Job Qualification Requirements (JQR) Program Manager.
* Experience utilizing training systems and applications such as Readiness and Cost Reporting Program (RCRP) and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Navy Training Information Management Systems (NTIMs), Fleet Training and Management System (FLTMPS), Corporate Enterprise and Training Activity Resources System (CeTARS).
