About the Position: This position is located with Aberdeen Proving Ground's Army Health Clinic, Logistic Service. Receiving supplies, establishing par levels, delivering supplies, materials, and manages linen reception and par levels. Perform deliveries and coordination between Aberdeen Proving Ground North (Kirk facility) and South (Edgewood facility) and Fort George G. Meade.
Duties
Maintain centralized organizational administrative storeroom inventory.
Issue, deliver, and maintain administrative supplies to internal customers.
Review supply requests to ensure that information is correct, such as quantity, correct priority, etc.
Submit monthly report of items to supervisor.
Drive truck to pick-up and deliver medical supplies, equipment, mail, packages, specimens, and other urgently needed items.
Assure that cargo is properly located, distributed and secured, and that vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity.
Perform driver maintenance and clean the interior and exterior of the vehicle on a regular basis (daily and weekly).
May occasionally drive other type and size vehicles for which qualified and licensed, when required by the workload.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel (no more than 10% of the time, in the most expedient manner) away from the normal duty station.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- This position requires you to possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes purchasing supplies and equipment through the use of Government Purchase Card (GPC); making purchases initiated on verbal and/or written requests; coordinating the delivery and pick-up of supplies; and utilizing various office automation systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).
OR
Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
