Duties
Serves as the GPC holder responsible for processing requisitions and initiating local purchase actions.
Ensures funds are available and authorized for all purchases, reconciles monthly transactions with monthly statements and maintains current status of credit card purchases to ensure compliance with all IAW policies and AXOL requirements.
Advises on expendable and non-expendable medical/ non-medical requisitions to ensure appropriate procurement pathway is executed.
Assists with the procurement of the New Equipment Requests (NER) similar to Medical Care Support Equipment (MEDCASE), Super Capital Expense Equipment Program (SuperCEEP), and Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP).
Utilizes Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) to research the requirements and procures through the Electronic Catalogue (eCAT) and/or Customer Area Inventory Management (CAIM) module where applicable.
Maintains knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations Supplemental (DFARS).
Ensures proper entry and knowledge of General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Utilizing supply policies, regulations, procedures, and instructions to supply management; (2) Conduct investigations to determine best means of procurement utilizing various available vehicles; AND (3) Operating various types of computer software and applications to conduct data searches.
