About the Position: Serves in the Property Book Branch, Logistics and Facilities Division, Army Public Health Center (APHC). This position is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Duties
Check documentation of purchases and written requests for purchase.
Screen and edit requests of expendable, non-expendable, medical and non-medical supplies and equipment, non-expendable high dollar value purchases.
Maintain digital and hard copy property transaction records (Gains, Losses and Transfers) in accordance with (IAW) applicable regulations, supply bulletins, policy letters and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Operate automated supply systems for supply actions such as data entry, reports retrieval, error correction and specific property record search.
Assist and advise the organization?s primary hand receipt holders with conducting cyclic inventories of their assigned non-expendable property.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Up to 5% Business Travel is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: operating an automated supply system; maintaining log or register of transactions; and assisting customers review for property loss. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
