About the Position: Serves in the Procurement Branch, Logistics & Facilities Division Defense Centers for Public Health - Aberdeen (DCPH-A This position is in the Defense Health Agency Public Health, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. Duties

Serves as the GPC holder responsible for processing requisitions and initiating local purchase actions. Ensures funds are available and authorized for all purchases, reconciles monthly transactions with monthly statements and maintains current status of credit card purchases to ensure compliance with all IAW policies and AXOL requirements. Advises on expendable and non-expendable medical/ non-medical requisitions to ensure appropriate procurement pathway is executed. Assists with the procurement of the New Equipment Requests (NER) similar to Medical Care Support Equipment (MEDCASE), Super Capital Expense Equipment Program (SuperCEEP), and Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP). Utilizes Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) to research the requirements and procures through the Electronic Catalogue (eCAT) and/or Customer Area Inventory Management (CAIM) module where applicable. Maintains knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations Supplemental (DFARS). Ensures proper entry and knowledge of General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical)Information ManagementReasoning (Clerical/Technical)Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
