You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst in the Operations Department, Global Distance Support Center (GDSC) of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.
Duties
You will provide support to the Director for staff direction and accomplishment of all departmental program activities in accordance with laws, policies, regulations and acceptable practices.
You will be responsible for developing, writing and implementing technical supply policies and business rules.
You will identify database and system problems; make corrections, recommendations and implement resolutions.
You will assign work to subordinates staffed in the GDSC based on priorities, consideration of assignment difficulty and requirements, and the employee's capabilities to accomplish assignments.
You will work closely with subordinate personnel to improve production or increase quality of work.
You will recommend selections for subordinate team lead positions and for work leader, group leader, or project director positions responsible for coordinating the work of others, and similar positions.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates Supply Management and Supply Systems Analyst work primarily concerned with analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, and techniques of a supply program. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Correlating and analyzing statistical data related to supply systems to advise and support specialists and management; 2) Utilizing analytical reasoning and evaluative techniques to determining trends, identify problems, and recommend improvements to supply procedures related to supply systems; 3) Developing guidance for applying supply policy, procedures, and business rules to a supply program; 4) Validating supply transactions required to ensure proper processing in supply system databases including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database; and 5) Leading or assisting employees engaged in providing supply system support, providing guidance, oversight, and work distribution.
